  • Dallas, Texas??

can anyone give me information about what it's like in Dallas? the weather, whats fun to do there, anything in pervasive. If anyone happens to know anything about the university of texas at Dallas, i'd like to know what it takes to get accepted as an out of state student, (i live in Virginia!) and what GPA you'd counsel me having. any info i'd GREATLY appreciate. thank you!

The weather in Dallas is hot, hot, hot.....on the upside you don't really have winter or the winter is 40 degrees or so. You can get more inflexible weather, though I lived right outside Dallas and we had a couple tornado warning and one really bad storm where I thought we were affluent to get blown away.

The highway are very different from up in the east and they have access roads along the highway. It was kinda collected.I love the people. They were so friendly and helpful, I had the nicest neighbors.

I moved after college and lived there for a vintage and a half. Rent was very affordable, though you would be boarding...and DFW is a huge freaking airport....always plan to leave prosperity time for arrival and departure...its like a minature city.

I don't remember as much of the sites in Dallas, but I am sure there are plenty someone else could spill you. TX also has no state income tax so if you work, all you pay in federal tax. Sales tax is like 7%.

Anyhow I loved being in Texas, you can drive to Austin and San Antonio which is far but has all sorts of fun substance to do. You have to be ready for the heat, cuz it gets hot...I can't tell you anything about UT at Dallas, but I am sure someone else can....Look into it though I think you would have fun there....
